Looks like a good build, this is purely my opinion so people feel free to chip in but I think that Cooler Master case isn't great. Been doing a bit of research recently because I need a replacement and that case is a bit of a false economy at the price because it only comes included with one fan. I was looking at the Zalman Z9-U3 for example and it's got a neat HDD rack system and comes with space for 5x fans but more crucially is provided with 3x case fans already. One front, one exhaust and one for either the side or top. The place where bargains are usualy not had is Maplins on the high street but the one by me had this case on sale just the other day and I had a good look round it and it's a really decent piece of kit and they had it for £39.99. I think some of the more budget end Cooler Master cases are trading on the name alone.

Thanks for the advice. To be honest I chose it as it was the only budget case I could think of which would fit a cpu cooler and the large 7950. Another case I looked at was the Zalman Z9 Plus for £40 on Amazon. What do you think of it? And are there any other cases for a similar price you could suggest?

Well it's difficult to suggest a case because a lot of the time they are personal choice and at the price range we are looking at (which IMO is more than enought to pay) there is a lot of competition. I'm not a Zalman fanboy but I did see that case also at my local Maplins when I just happened to go in there, didn't realise they sold anything even remotely useful! That Z9+ case was also of really good quality construction and came provided with I think 3 fans also. So I would say it is more than worth a look, what I found quite useful was to make a short list of cases and then check Youtube for some unboxing video's. Not as good at looking in the flesh but at least on video you can get a better idea of the construction and what's made of metal and what's cheap plastic.

But yes, If it was me I would go for the Zalman at that price, it's got a bit of flare and isn't boring and appears to have good quality construction and is very reasonably priced.

Okay I've looked at a few and the Z9 Plus is my chosen case. I have ordered the parts now. Excited but nervous as its my first build :S

Any build help you could give that would help me? :p
