PC won't start up, restarts after 5 seconds.

Hi there, my PC was working fine until my sound card messed up; and at the time I was having a bad day so pulled out the kettle and then the sound card (I know bad mistake) and then the PC would try to start up for 3 seconds then turn off for a couple seconds then retry.

After a bit of googling and searching and testing it came down to either PSU, Mobo or CPU. The problem I'm having is that I've replaced all three and it's still happening.

After replacing the PSU, nothing different happened, it did the same process of turning on for 3 seconds (showing nothing on screen or having no BIOS beeps).
After replacing the Mobo, it tried turning on for 5 seconds instead of 3, but same thing happened.
After replacing CPU, same thing happened.

Did notice that there was a bent pin on the new Mobo (was a Grade B refurb), could that be the problem?

The speaker I used to hear the beeps may be a bit dodgy as it's some old one I found lying around at work, but when I turn the PC on, it sounds like 2-1 but couldn't find out if that meant anything.

So could it be the Mobo causing the problem? Seeing I'm having to RMA it or could there be something else except from the three things from above?

I also tried removing the memory and starting it up, but no different beeps so don't think it has something to do with memory.

Sorry for the long post but hopefully it'll help find the problem.

Specs:

Intel i7-2600 Processor
Z68-AP-D3 Motherboard
Coolermaster Silent Pro 500W PSU
16GB DDR3 (1333Mhz) Memory

New components:

Intel E3-1230 Xeon
MSI Z77A-G43 Motherboard
500W Corsair CX Builder PSU

Anything other information needed just ask.

Edit: forgot to write that I've tried breadboarding it but problem still occurs.

I can't as computer turns off before can access, and have no spare PC available to test it with. I know it's not the memory as the problems occurs even if the PC has no memory in it.
