First build:

Planning on doing this one in a few weeks. Budget is around $450. This computer will just be used for viewing photos, watching youtube, internet surfing, and working from home doing some programming. This computer is for my girlfriend. I posted this first build in the cpu section of thew forums, but I have made a couple tweaks. Oh, and I have the optical drive already. I also plan to use the integrated graphics. But I do have a Raedon x1300 256 MB laying around if I have problems.

CPU: AMD A10-5800K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor ($99.99 @ Microcenter)
Motherboard: MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Micro ATX FM2 Motherboard ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($29.83 @ NCIX US)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($55.98 @ Outlet PC)
Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid Tower Case ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair CX 430W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($39.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($89.98 @ Outlet PC)
Total: $425.75

Second build:

This build is probably at least a month off, but I am looking forward to an upgrade. This computer will be used for some moderate gaming. Mainly MMO's, Skyrim, Diablo 3, games similar to that. I will probably start to do some light photo editing at some point too. I have a 500GB internal hard drive already. I also have a GeForce gtx 650 ti already too. I was trying to stay around $500 for this second build.

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.99 @ Microcenter)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($54.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($17.98 @ Outlet PC)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($89.98 @ Outlet PC)
Total: $532.91

I know all of this is a lot for one post. Thanks in advance for the input :)

Build #1 Good to to and forget the X1300 the HD7660 on the APU trounces it ^^ I would have gone with a nice compact mATX case but that is a matter of taste

Build #2 Ok but if gaming @ 1920 x 1080 you'd have to turn settings down but in general looks decent enuff

What do you think a pretty good mATX case is? I was actually thinking about doing that
