Hello.
My PC has been acting strange lately.
My display randomly acts up. Usually it happens when running a game but it also happens even when browsing the net. Sometimes the display is messed up. Sometimes the monitor turns off and turns on again and displays an error message "Display Driver Stop Responding ...". Sometimes the monitor turns off completely or goes to BSoD.
I've tried TDR solutions, updating drivers, reverting to old drivers, cleaning up my pc, using different monitors but still had the problem.
I've use HWMonitor to check the temps. Here is the result

Result

Any help is most appreciated.
Thank you guys in advance :)
Hoping this isn't because of my GPU :p

I can remember having a problem like this many years ago.

It turned out to be that my GPU was faulty. It was some time ago and the GPU was quite old and it just took me replacing the fan to resolve the issue.

But with what you have described it sounds like a GPU issue. Possibly not temps but something else.

However if the BSoD is coming up with a driver error then it might just be a driver issue.

Have you fully removed the previous driver and not just rolled back the driver or installed another driver over the top?

See this thread about a tool to remove old drivers completely: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/304706-33-completely-uninstall-graphics-drivers-install-ones

Hope this helps!

Nick

well :/ i think my GPU gave up.
the screen is messed up even without a driver.
anything you could suggest? or is it time to get a new one.

thanks for the help guys.

Do you have an old PCIE GPU to try or maybe a friend that has one? This would be the free and easy way to confirm it is the GPU. It does sound like it is though.

If the GPU is under a year old and you bought it new you should be able to get a new one from the manufacturer via the warranty.
