Getting really low fps in games. I've had this issue for a while ever since i bought it, I can't edit in sony vegas the preview just keeps flickering and lagging so badly. In minecraft im getting 50 FPS! 50FPS!! With an HD 7970!

Don't know much about 3DMark11 but I don't think my score is too good....

DO NOT UNINSTALL OLD DRIVERS!!!!

This causes problems, ive seen it before on these forums. What you want to do is just download the new drivers and install them- they are programmed to override and update automatically what was on the old drivers.

I repeat DO NOT UNINSTALL OLD DRIVERS.

Here is what you should do. Uninstall the current catalyst version you have. Install the catalyst drivers on the disk you got with your GPU when you bought it.

Then install the downloaded 13.1 or 13.3 drivers you have and it will override/update the old drivers.

Let me know if this helps.

Installed disk driver, updated it with the newest driver.. and no difference at all. Just back to where i started. The software information tab remained the same in CCC which means I'm still apparently runnng driver 9.12.0.0

Ok here's something I just noticed, I looked at your 3Dmark scores and noticed your core clock was only running at 300MHz, doesnt it come with a default core clock of 1000MHz?

Also the memory clock looked really low at 150MHz as well. Do you have MSI afterburner? If you do open it up and see what it reports the core and memory clocks at. If you dont have MSI afterburning...install it and tell me what it reports the core and memory clocks at.

Afterburner says core clock is 925 (default) and says memory clock is 1375, which is werid, GPU tweak says gpu clock is 925 and memory clock is 5500 :O Afterburner says driver version is 9.14.10.0945 and catalyst version is 13.1
