Hey all,
I recently decided to build a desktop, I already have bought these parts:
CPU- I5-3750k Ivy Bridge 3.4ghz (3.8ghz turbo)
Motherboard- GIGABYTE GA-H77-DS3H LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX
Case- Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

I have done some research on the GPU im going to go with the 7870 hd 2gb Tahiti LE if there is no compatibility issues with my other parts. For the memory G.Skill Sniper series 8gb not sure what package type to go with, and the power supply im confused for wattage im not planning on overclocking anytime soon.
Any advice on the gpu, memory, and psu is greatly appreciated.

Good call with the mobo, just make sure you grab an aftermarket cooler before you OC.
RE Case fans, you'll be fine as is until you add a second GPU. When you do that it'd be worth a decent fan on the side intake feeding them fresh air. Otherwise I'd say leave as is.
I like that 620W Seasonic PSU linked above, definitely better than the Corsair CX range & a good price, I just think it's a bit half-n-half power wise. Technically it's fine for 2x7870LEs but for me it's cutting it too fine. Bit overkill for just 1 GPU & Intel platform.
The modular TX-750 (made by Seasonic) is actually only $100 on Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139030 - I change my recommendation to that! Good call from Rex.
Nice build...
You're not going to be overclocking with that motherboard. You'd need a Z77 north bridge for that. That 7870 LE will work fine. So will the RAM. For a psu look for around 650W from Seasonic, Corsair, Antec, PCP&C, or NZXT. You didn't mention a store so it's hard to give you a recommendation.

Thanks for your quick reply, ya i gooofed on the motherboard in the future i may upgrade. Also for the ram should I get a (2x4) package? So far ive bought my parts from Newegg.ca

That's a good start. Like Wanderer says, you've paid extra for a K series processor which lets you overclock, but the H77 mobo won't allow this. If you can return things it might be worth either dropping down to a non-K processor to save some cash, or stepping up to a Z77 mobo so you can OC down th track if you want to. It'll all work as-is, so no worries there, just not the best bang-for-buck.
RE PSU, if you ever want the option of adding a second GPU down the track, I'd get a 750W PSU, something like this Corsair CX750 at $80 after MIR http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139040. If you're happy with just one GPU only, something like this Corsair Cx500W at $50 would do the trick: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027
RE RAM, just get 1600mhz, decent brand, 2x4GB and low profile (so you can add a large CPU cooler if you ever want to). With that, you're all set!

rhysiam I think your absolutely right, I have to wait a couple weeks before I can buy my other parts so I think I will return it and upgrade z77 so I could overclock down the road. Wanderer I would like the option to upgrade to a second gpu so my system will last a while so a 750W it is. With this setup does anybody think ill need a cooling system? My case has two large fans 1-(140x25) 1-(120x25) and 3 other possible fan upgrades.
