Dead p8p67, new extreme 6 , new windows install?

My p8p67 pro just died and im replacing it with a asrock extreme 6. Do I need to do a new windows install? I have a slight problem I cant find my disk but I still have the box with the serial number, am I screwed out of a hundred dollars?? or is there some way around it.

my set up
gtx580
i5 2500k
1000w psu
2x4gb gskill ripjaws
120gb intell ssd

You'll just have to try it; sometimes windows 7 will reconfigure the device drivers, but often it crashes if more than two devices have been changed. I look for unopened copies of windows 7 or 8 on craigslist; sometimes you find them for $50-60, even the pro version.
