amd a6 5400k vs amd a8 3870k

my guess would have to be the 3870 is better for for playing the games but the 5400k has better graphics for watching movies and such, but as always if your able to get just a CPU and a stand alone graphics card would probably be the better choice, but i under stand if your not able to do that.
