Hi.
I would like to try my hand at building a computer.
Over the years i have bought pre-built ones, but they never really were what i wanted.

So to the point then.
I have chosen parts and i would like to ask if they would work together.
I would also like to know if there are any improvements that could be done.
Some are left empty because i don't know what to get for them. Suggestions would be appreciated

Heres the list of parts:

Motherboard -
Case -
PSU -
~265$ GPU - MSI GTX 660 (Not TI, Twin Frozr III)
~265$ Processor - Intel Core i5-3570
~85$ RAM - Kingston 2x 4GB 1333MHz
~85$ HDD - Western Digital WD Blue - 1TB (3.5")
~30$ DVD+RW - Samsung SH-224BB (5.25")
~135$ Operation System - Windows 7 Home Premium

All of those parts together from where i am buying are 865$.
As i mentioned before. If there is anything that i can change to make this build

Edit 1:
I'm from Denmark.
I am not sure how much this will help, but heres two websites that i'm sure you might be able to translate somehow:
http://www.proshop.dk
http://www.komplett.dk

By budget is at ~1000$ (6000 Danish Krone)
I am willing to go further if necessary, but i'm not going more than 1220$.

The main purpose of this computer would be for gaming at a reasonable FPS.
For example:
The Elder Scrolls - Skyrim
Call of Duty Black Ops 2
Battlefield 3
And others

No. The Fractal Design Core 1000 cannot support an ATX motherboard. Everything else is okay. If you want help with your build, please state your budget, where you're from, what stores are available to you, and what the purpose of the build is.

Good start to your build. A few thoughts:
- there's little point getting a Z77 mobo, which allows you to overclock, with a non-K CPU which doesn't. If you want to OC in future get the 3570K, otherwise grab a cheaper H77 mobo and save yourself a few $$s
- that PSU is a bit overkill, unless you plan to add another 660 down the track a decent 500W PSU is more than enough.
- WD black drives are a little overpriced IMHO, a WD blue gives you most the performance for a decent amount less. Unless you've got a good price on that black, I'd go Blue.
- all good advice from ksham, with the info he asks for we can give better recommendations.

Any suggestions for:
A Motherboard
A Case - I was thinking a fractal design core 1000, but i don't know what motherboard i would use to go with it.
A Power Supply - Would a Corsair CX500M or CX500 V2 do? (To be honest i don't know the difference in the M and the non M)

Or just what to look for in one of those or more.
