Is this memory good?

Hi, I'm new to these forums and to this whole computer building thing, so help would be greatly appreciated. I can get this memory (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313345) free with certain motherboards at Newegg, does anyone have experience with this brand? I'll be mainly using it for gaming and might overclock it a little. I have an i5-3570k (XMP will work with this memory right?), and will probably be using one of these motherboards (which one should I get?).

Not really, I just like the style of it. The Mpower would simply help with CPU and RAM. Graphic cards OC stability is usually independent of the motherboard. But you really should't pay for a motherboard over $150. Unless you plan on trying to do 5+ Ghz on water, there's little point to having such an extreme motherboard.

I would look into the brand more than the actual model. The popular brands are Corsair, G. Skill, and Crucial because of their quality. It's a small company so you won't get much feedback about them.

Also, pretty much any of those boards will do. I personally lean ASRock, but MSI does make good products.
