I had to RMA to an MSI RMA department my GTX 560 Twin Frozr II Golden Edition graphics card because of a fan issue. It's been 2 weeks... and today I have recently got an e-mail from an individual in MSI RMA asking me if I would like to replace the following:
My MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II Golden Edition
For their MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk
I did a bit of research and it turns out that this card can get really hot. Is it possible for my other computer components to fail if the card they replace acts funny? I'm paranoid about this. And also do you think I can e-mail or much preferably call them instead and see what my other replacement options are? I know that with RMA, they will replace your card with a similar or better model, but I don't know if I should replace it with the GTX 560 Ti Hawk. That's why I'm here to ask you guys. What do you guys think?
