I am looking at the Asus Radeon HD 7850(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...) for a MSI 970A-G43(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...) Motherboard and am wondering if they are compatible (with different PCI slots). I am quite new with computers and I would just like to be sure.

Thanks,
Clint

Yes they are compatible. Provided you have a sufficient power supply. Pci is backwards compatible. So as long as you have a Pci slot you are fine.

Yes, they are compatible! :)

You can use a PCIe 3.0 graphic card on a PCIe 2.0 motherboard, but perhaps you want a motherboard with a PCIe 3.0 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

It looks good and the parts are compatible, however do not get a case with a power supply -- get them separate.
