Hey guys.
I recently got this USB 3.0 Memory Stick, it says online it is capable of doing about 135 MB/s Write and 2250 MB/s Read. I am not even close at getting those speeds.
I am currently using a Asus P8P67 Pro Motherboard, with the latest NEC/RENESAS USB 3.0 Drivers (Updated a few hours ago).
I tested transferring speeds on two of my HDDs:

When transferring a 5 GB 720p movie from my USB 3.0 Memory Stick to my WD Raptor Disk (10K RPM), it starts out at 210 MB/s but slows quickly down to 90 MB/s.
When transferring the same file back to my USB 3.0 Memory Stick it starts at transferring the file at 60 MB/s but slows quickly down to 45 MB/s.

When I transferring the same 5 GB file to my other HardDrive (Standard 500 GB 7.2K RPM Drive) It starts at a wooping 250 MB/s but quickly slows down to 70 MB/s.
When transferring the same file back again it starts it starts at 80 MB/s but quickly slows down to 65 MB/s.

I also tested transferring a 1.5 GB file from my SSD to my USB 3.0 Device (Only 1.5 GB due to limited space). When transferring from the SSD to my USB 3.0 Device, it starts at 260 MB/s and slows down to 125 MB/s
When transferring the same file back to the SSD it starts at 210 MB/s but slows quickly down to 80 MB/s after 3 seconds, but by the time it reaches 80 MB/s the file is already transferred. I have a feeling I should redo this test with a 5 GB file, to get a better speed read. Though it still feels very slow.
Any idea why this is so slow? Or is it because my HDDs are bottlenecking the USB 3.0 speeds, but if so, why does it start out very fast, and slows down to nearly USB 2.0 Speeds? Also, why are the SSDs transfers dipping to 80 MB/s when transferring from the USB 3.0 Disk to my Corsair SSD?
When I transfer files between the HDDs, I get around 100 MB/s, and these HDDs are supposed to be slower than my USB 3.0 Device, so I feel there's something fishy going on.

If you guys want me to redo the SSD to USB 3.0 Device transfer test (and vice versa) just post here, and I'll try to delete a few programs taking up my valuable GBs.
