It's a solid build except maybe overkill is all. What are you going to be using it for?

Also, I would suggest a different power supply.

What about it do they say is shit?

The 680 is often considered not a great value because the $100 less 670 offers 95% of the performance for less money. Aside from that, it's a very strong card.

You could also be dealing with AMD fanboys.

If you've built it, it will be great for Black Ops 2. Those people have no idea what they're talking about.

If you haven't built it, I would suggest saving some money by dropping to the Core i5 3570k and GTX 670. It's about $200 in savings and about 5% less performance.

Well it's a good thing you came to the forums haha. I can't even fathom someone saying a 680 is a bad card, I have a 670 DirectCUII TOP and it is fantastic (right about at a reference 680 in terms of performance). From now on don't listen to them. Also, tell em' to refer to Tom's Hardware once in a while, they have some learning to do haha.

I know they're not as well regarded as other brands, but this GX 650 I bought has been nothing but absolute perfection. Nice warranty, cleanly sleeved cables, and it's quiet. Plus, I got it on sale for like 60 bucks, good deal.

A real water cooling loop is tricky to setup from what I have heard. Risks are that it leaks and frys/corrodes your components.

You can get pre-made closed loop systems but their performance is not much better then something like a coolermaster 212 air cooler.

For PSUs coolermaster isn't too good. Go with corsair, seasonic, antec or XFX.

For mild OCing I recommend looking up the CM 212.
