Insignia 720 TV as 2nd Monitor = Sound Stopped Coming From TV???

Hi All,

We've been using our Insignia 42" TV as a 2nd monitor for over a year via an HDMI cable. The sound has always come out of the TV when we move a window over to the TV from the monitor and all of a sudden it stopped coming from the TV and now only comes from the computer desktop speakers. The video still comes through great on the TV, just not the sound anymore. We have a HP computer, beefed up graphics card (ATI Radeon 5700 Series) etc. with Windows 7 Ultimate. Any ideas? Thanks!

Normally you would have to change the playback output from "speakers" to "HDMI Digital Output". Right click on your speaker icon in the bottom right of the taskbar and choose "volume control options". You should see: Speakers, HDMI output, Digital Output and Digital Output ( Optical ). You want the one that is for HDMI. You will have to change it back to go back to your speakers when you are done with your TV.
