Not reading my hard drive

I have recently built a new computer i have put two hard drives in, My SSD is running fine , but for some reason My OS is not reading my other hard drive . It is showing up in the BIOS I am using a Segate2TB Barracuda7200RPM 64MB all the cables and wires are hooked up they way they are supposed to be so any idea what i can try to get it to read this drive?

assuming yoru using windows, when you go to the hard drive formating section(start>right click my computer>manage>disk management) change the 2tb drive to GBT(required for 2tb+ drives) and format it
