Just looking for some advice from whoever has any experience with this combo. Basically I've already ordered the 8350, and intend to get the Biostar board. After a good bit of research on various sites, It seemed like the right choice, and the perfect price. So, yeah, I'll be getting it. My only worry is that the motherboards bios may be outdated, and I'll then find it hard to update without having an old CPU to put in the Biostar(my current PC is Intel). Could anyone tell me if the 8350 works straight off the bat with this board? because It would save me so much time and effort, and I'd really appreciate it.

PS. Novice, first time build.

I had a look at both the Asus M5A99xEvo R2.0 and the M5A99FX PRO R2.0. Would the 99FX be a better option for my CPU? Would it be difficult to flash the bios with USB, if this board was capable of that? I'd have to resort to that as I've no old AMD chip.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I'm not getting the Asus board because It's sold out on Amazon here in the UK. Only site I really trust after some bad experiences else where. So I might just go and order the Biostar Now or the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3, not really sure. Either would be pretty good i suspect. I'm also not worried about the bios situation anymore as my mate has said he will help me flash it with a USB if needed.
