Browser redirecting one specific website

It could be that another website (a kind of parent) is redirecting the website I want to visit. In the past I have been able to visit it, but recently it has become unavailable. I have also recently received emails from the same domain that is unavailable. There is a lot of information on many websites on this topic of site redirection, so I have done some homework before posting here.

Steps I have taken to stop redirects, none of which work:

1. In IE, Use SSL 2.0 and 3.0.

2. In IE, "Internet Options" > "Security" when the window appears. Set the security to "High"

3. In IE, "Internet Options" > Security: Miscellaneous: Disable MetaRefresh in all zones.

4. In Firefox, "Options," then click on the "Advanced" tab. Navigate to the "Accessibility" box, under the "General" tab. Click the check box next to "Warn me when websites try to redirect or load the page." (I never got any warning).

5. In FF, use "remove redirects".

6. In both, disable Java.

7. On the page that the site redirects to, I searched for .htaccess using R-click View Page info, and View Source info:
no results, but the file may not show up in either of these ways.

Any suggestions for other methods of preventing redirection?

Thanks. The domain I want to reach remains the same and as I mentioned, I have received emails as recently as last week using the domain. Another problem is that I am unable to reply to the emails (they get bounced back with an error message "550 5.7.1 Error: content rejected (in reply to end of DATA command) ", which is my current issue and led me to discover that the domain as a whole appears no longer available. And I cannot contact the domain's webmaster to enquire why there is this problem.
Any other ways to stop redirection?

Hello rgbrgb, the website may have been hijacked. The Ublock Origin browser extension blocks malicious and ransomware redirects. Microsoft Store, etc. will install the Ublock Origin extension for the browser. Ublock Origin philosophy says it is a general-purpose blocker. You can also add your unwanted redirect to the Ublock Origin > My Filters if your redirect is not automatically blocked. Ublock Origin privacy policy says this browser extension does not collect any data of any kind. Kind regards.
