How to increase RAM

I have A Asus K55VD 15.6-inch Laptop (Smoky Black) - (Intel Core i5 3210M 2.5GHz Processor, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, DVDRW, LAN, WLAN, Webcam, Nvidia Graphics, DOS) laptop and i have installled windows 7 ultimate in it if we click on properties of My Computer then it shows installed RAM as 8 GB and usable RAM as 3.15 GB i have to increase this RAM to 4GB
or more so how can i do that

Looks like someone deleted a response. I was here just a minute ago and Avdhoot92 had responded it was a 32bit OS and was still wondering what to do (something about games not performing and needing more RAM) and someone else had responded that a 64bit OS was needed because the 6GB was beyond the limit of a 32bit OS. Either it was deleted or I am losing my mind (which is entirely possible). Anyway, the answer appears to have been given - a 64bit OS is in order.
