Looks pretty good but I have just a few suggestions to make.

First, if the primary use of this rig is for gaming, you won't notice a difference between the i7 3770K and the i5 3570K. I would drop down and put the money you save towards a better graphics card such as a GTX 670. The difference there would be more noticeable.

Also, the SABERTOTH Z77 is really overpriced and definitely not worth it. The "thermal armor" typically has the opposite effect of what it's supposed to.

I suggest this motherboard which will save you some more cash:

Go with the Hyper 212 EVO cooler because it really does offer excellent value.

I love the Asus GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB Video Card. I would only suggest maybe getting 2 and setting up an SLI bridge. You will see better gaming from increases to your GPUs not your CPUs.

I love the look of the Sabertooth but I have wished that they setup some kind of heat pipe system that would better direct the South Bridge and the VRM heats to the fans. :( The new x79 Sabertooths only put the armor over the key areas instead of the whole board but I love the look of the total coverage armor. I hope they change this when the Haswell processors comes out.

Exactly, you're way overpaying for the motherboard and CPU when you don't need to be, I completely agree here. I'd also get the Hyper 212 over the Zalman fan any day of the week. On a gaming rig any remaining funds always goes into getting the best GPU you can get for your budget. I'd suggest this:

I'd go +1 to everything JD88 has said and add that you can double your SSD space right now for only $7 extra without compromising on quality at all. The 240GB Mushkin Enhanced Chronos Deluxe drive is only $157.25 at Newegg right now.

I also like g-unit1111's switch to the Gigabyte version of the 670 because its cooling solution should run a bit quieter.

Here's what I'd go with:

That should have everything you listed on there, though pcpartpicker didn't have price data available for all of the items.

Well I have not been back with intel for very long but I really like my Asus Z77 Sabertooth. To me it was worth every penny spent on it. I would go down to the i5 3570K though.

As for GPU's when I built my i5 I went with the Gigabyte GTX 670's they are $379 so I saved some money over the Asus and was then able to get two for a nice SLI setup.
