Hi, so I bought a wired xbox 360 controller so that I can drive/pilot better in games like Arma 3, but the frist one I got had this problem where the right analog was is pushed down slightly causing my camera screen to keep moving unless I hold the analog up a bit to keep it in the center. So I took it back to replace it with a new one, and I'm having the same problem. Is this a common problem? And how can I fix it? :pfff:

I have not had this be an issue on new controllers, but have had it be an issue with used ones (normally the left stick). If you are trying this on a used product, take the analog stick and pull up on it until you hear/feel a light "click."

Normally the "play" in the controller is from heavy use, so this should not be an issue with a new controller, but some joystick controlled games are much more sensative than others. you can use the joystick calibration tool built into windows (type joy.cpl or access controllers from control panel) to make a sort of "dead zone" in the middle of your joystick. This forces you to push slightly more for the same effect, but also removes the effect...
