First of all i would like to thank the contributors on this forum. Many times i have found answers after coming here.
I have an issue with my stock fan of the CPU. I have an i5 3570k and the fan does almost all the time a noise like how a bee does, a bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb sound, don't know how to describe it . I read from other people that the stock fan is silent, and i'm wondering if my fan has a problem.
If my fan is okay is there anything i can do lower the sound. My CPU temp idle is around 25 C (77 F), when i play some games it goes around 45 C (113 F), fan spins at around 1100-1500 rpm, at least from the times i checked it. When it is around 1100 rpm its mostly silent. Above that the noise starts, and its mostly the same volume despite how fast it spins, only minor differences. If i choose that silent option my MB has is it safe? is there a danger i will burn my CPU?
I forgot to say that i'm using the integrated GPU, (intel hd 4000), i don't know if this forces the fan to spin faster and louder.
