The RC-690 II is discontinued on newegg. It's probably an older case. Maybe get a newer one, like maybe the CM HAF series or corsair's lineup.

Good setup. I'd recommend the 212 evo or if you have more cash the NH-D14 for $90 or corsair's h100i for $110.

Key Points:

-After recent benchmarks the FX-8350 is a better option that the i5 3570k look at these:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4et7kDGSRfc

-The HD 7970 Ghz is definitely better than the 680, cheaper too... (its your first gaming PC, how had you had cards for NVidia or AMD before o_O), check these:

I could get more.. but usually the HD 7970 Ghz beats the 680 in most scenarios, (still there are times when the 680 beats, but the HD 7970 Ghz beats in more cases) and why pay extra just to get a similar performing card....

-Case + That cooler will give you VERY VERY beastly overclocking, and a system which you practically cannot hear unless you have your ear about 10 cm next to it o_O...

The 7970 will beat the 680 but some games may prefer nvidia over amd and you might get better frames in games like WoW and sc2 out of the 680. Either way you won't be losing out.

this bench is a bit old but i think there is not any major difference in performance since then!
also gtx 680 2gb vs 4gb there is no difference in performance at resolution less than 1080.
