It usually happens when gaming, but has also happened when I'm simply on the internet. I'll be playing a game and all of a sudden the screen goes black, but the audio of the game seems to continue for a sort time. Then, the screen says something about there being no visual input and the audio cuts out, forcing me to restart my computer manually. I've scanned and fixed my registry using CCleaner and scanned for any viruses or malware, multiple times. Neither seem to have done any good. Please help!

CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1100T 3.3 Ghz
RAM: 8 GB (4 GB x 2)
Video Cards:2 x Radeon 6850 (Crossfire)
MB: GA-890FXA-UD5
PSU: 800W
Storage: 2 TB Hard Drive
If you need anything else let me know. Yes, I've scanned my memory multiple times and there have been no issues with it at all.

How old is your monitor? I recently had a problem with the monitor going black at random times (even when I wasn't using the computer) so I tested with an older monitor and the problem disappeared. I replaced the monitor with a new one and have not had the problem since. If you have another monitor, attach it and see if the problem replicates itself. If it does then you know the monitor is not the problem.

No not really, I just got the computer and the monitor less than two years ago so I don't think its the monitor itself. Thanks for the suggestion though, I'm willing to try anything at this point.

I noticed that you did not specify a manufacture for the PSU...
A crappy PSU can cause these issues as you are running 2 6850s as can a bad driver...
Also, if one of the cards is having issue it will crash the system... so, you could in the interest of solving this problem run each card separately and see if the problem goes away...
If you've OC'd anything at all you could also bring the component back to stock to see if that helps...
