I currently own a nvidia geforce gtx 550 ti.
I will be buying these components and need to know if they will all be compatible for a gaming build.

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K

MOBO: ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

CASE : CFI Prime 311 CFI-A0991 Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

PSU: LOGISYS Computer PS480D 480W ATX12V Power Supply

Since this is my first build I would love to hear all suggestions and issues with this build.

The CPU is a great choice. The motherboard is pretty good, though I'd also look at an AsRock z77 Extreme4.

If you're overclocking, then pick up a $30 Hyper 212 EVO. If you aren't, then get an i5-3470 and an h77 board for less money.

Never heard of that brand of cases, but that model has poor reviews on both newegg and amazon.

The power supply... you want slightly more wattage with more reliability. The power supply is THE most important part of your computer, because if it fails, as cheap ones are want to do, it could explode, light the computer on fire, or totally fry other components.

Also, you're forgetting RAM. :)

I've already ordered this due to time constraints I will just look to upgrade psu in the near future I know it is important but I was on a limited budget. The DDR3 ram is taken care of already I will be buying 16gb of corsair vengeance ram from best buy. Thanks a lot for your help I would have went with better PSU right away had I not already placed the order. I have a 400watt PSU from a older comp but I doubt that will be enough fro this build. I'm hoping the PSU I ordered will last me till I can buy another.

Heh. I've already answered your thread and the PM you sent me - that's a HORRIBLE option. The power supply is the most important part of your computer; don't be a tight-wallet there, as if it fails, it could easily take out the REST of your computer with it.

As everyone said, this PSU is not totally recommended and you also don't need 16G or RAM you might want to reconsider, and i also recommend considering your video card in the near future!

Return that POS PSU. Don't open it. Just contact whoever you bought it from and send it back. Pay the restocking fee if you have to, just don't open or use that "PSU". A Corsair CX430 or Antec 380Green is the choice low cost/budget PSU. I usually tell people to buy whichever is cheaper. Though the Antec is just a bit better so if same price then grab that. They can often be found on newegg for ~$30, though I admit there is usually a rebate involved.
