You would probably want a 1920x1080 resolution LED monitor. Built in speakers is a bonus, depending on if you have your own speakers or headset. If you are gaming, you will want less than 24 inches, so the entire screen fits within your field of vision. My monitor is 21.5 inches, and I think it's perfect, so I will recommend this one, otherwise you can get a similar model slightly bigger.

do you think there is a better one if i have also a console and i want to jack them both to my screen ? reading on this and other sites i realized that 24 inches are perfect for gaming and the minimum time response is essential, so maybe these are the traits i need on a monitor
