I came across 2 Nvidia GTX 460's in a gaming rig at the flea market, Bought the rig for 30 bucks (Decent HD, 16GB Ram, Modular CPU Watercooler) Figured even if half the stuff was fried I could salvage 30 bucks out of it. Got it home Tested it the Rig Was Fine (Had 32 bit 7 on it go figure) Well Im not sure about the Video cards though, I thought about using them as an SLI Setup in my Rig, They would replace a AMD HD6770 in a rig with 8gb ram and an I5 3570k. what do you guys think. ohh and the CPU was a I7-930 (Figured Someone Would ask)

If you got a working i7 930 rig with 2 x GTX 460s in it I would say you got one hell of a deal for $30! Each GTX 460 ( assuming they are 1GB 256bit models like mine ) is more powerful than your 6770. They scale very well in Sli as well. You could probably get $300 or more from that rig you paid $30 for if everything works. I would probably try and resell it and get something like an HD 7950 or HD7970. Or just keep it as is if you need another computer. The 2 x GTX 460s in Sli will about equal a GTX 480 or GTX 570.

So far the rig has been Running very Well and very Stable. (BAD PSU) I replaced the Thermal Paste on the CPU and Performed a few other inspections and everything looked ok. As far as the Video Cards I might use them in my Current System I play WOW, Aion, and Skyrim and Was just curious how they may Run with those 2 cards. Also the MOBO I have has 3 PCI express Slots two X16 and one x16 3.0 the bottom slot I cant get to so I would have to use the 3.0 and the regular slot to SLI will I encounter a Problem using the 2 different types of slots.
