Hello, I am wondering what Psu would you guys recommend. I am building a gaming computer with the following parts, I have no idea on what psu will benefit me the best.

Parts list:
Cpu: Intel Core i7 3770K
Motherboard: Gigabyte G1-Sniper3
Case: Coolermaster HAF XM Case with Window
Gpu: Dual cross-fired AMD PowerColour Radeon HD7770 Ghz edition
Ram: Corsair CMV16GX3M2A1333C9 16GB KIT (2x8GB)
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit

I'm also going to buy a Sapphire Radeon HD7970 GHz Edition 6GB Vapor-X Edition, around December. any ideas or Suggestions on my build ?

Cheers Serapaxson

Radeon HD 7970 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit.If you want a bigger power supply get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207028

The minimum requirements assume you have a no name, piece of junk power supply. The Seasonic X recommended above is one of the best power supplies on the market. With a quality power supply like the Seasonic X you would actually be fine with 500 watts.

This list also assumes a more generic quality power supply and since RealhardtechX maintains the best power supply database on the internet can be trusted.

http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm

Those requirements include overclocking headroom and do not do anything crazy like put the power supply at 90% load.

Every online power supply calculator I have ever seen overestimates to an insane degree. They also factor in things like 10% a year loss from capacitor aging when that is a nonissue with modern high quality solid capacitor power supplies.

The Super Flower made Rosewill units are very good. Voltage regulation, ripple and noise are better on the Seasonic though. The only units as good as the Seasonic X/Platinum models are the Flextronics made Corsair AXi series with digital regulation.

Still that is a very good price on a very good unit.

I am adding that Seasonic in a few weeks when I upgrade to a GTX 670 or maybe a Titan LE if it's good enough price/performance. My 750TX is over 6 years old now. Crazy they have been out that long. Figure I should replace it before it dies.

The Seasonic Platinum series are the best power supplies jonnyguru and Hardwaresecrets have ever tested.

@Serapaxson Sorry about suggesting newegg, before i was even finished posting that response I took a look at the site you use. Seen it was Australia. Thought, " oh they can't use newegg" so i closed the browser tab and i guess it posted.
My suggestion for just a little more money was the 7850.
PSU suggestion is always Seasonic.
