Random Black Screens (with increased fan speed)

This is something that's been bugging me for a week - while just browsing the whole system has completely shut down on me, black screen (but no BSODs so far), the CPU fan suddenly speeds up for some reason, and I'm stuck. Sometimes the whole system will restart 2-3 times by itself before finally booting up properly.

Sometimes I get no signal as this really quick "panic" video shows everything working...mostly (the GPU fan works, so Im pretty sure that's not the issue). I get sound but no display, although the restarting issue is a lot more common

What's most likely the culprit?

The system is 8 months old, and haven't had any major hardware dramas so far.

Sounds like a power issue firstly. How old / reliable is the PSU as well as your UPS/ Surge Protector.
Another Area to check would be the BIOS for irregular temperatures , temperature controls and voltage controls.
Update the BIOS if possible.

Have you checked the RAM (unseating, dusting, swap to make sure both sticks are good etc. , as well as a BIOS check on the RAM?)
Other than that it may be a PSU , but I heard the same issue happened with another guy who had a crack in the MoBo which was temporarily relieved by him slackening and re-inserting the screws to the case...and eventually leading to a new MoBo though...but worth a shot.

So I've had my first case of this happening ingame, so I went to check the Performance logs. Turns out I'm not the only one to suffer a critical Kernel Power error 41

Here's the log, if it helps with anyone (Im also running Memtest a few times):

Looks like a Power supply issue, as initially thought. Lots of good ones have reduced prices lately. Don't be sceptic of the Bronze - Gold rated ones, they do perform better than those that do not have the certification mark.

Still dont understand how its a PSU issue when:
a) I can run Prime95 for 2 hours yet crashes after light browsing for 5 minutes
b) It sounds like the loud fan is the GPU. It's a Radeon 7750 therefore there's no PSU connector

And my Antec unit is Bronze certified (in case you're wondering)
