I talked to Guild Wars 2 support about my computer blue screening in game at very specific spots. It actually will only blue screen if I go to that spot which as of now I've only found to. What happens is listed below. My question is Guild Wars 2 told me my CPU was running faster than it was supposed to but was not OCed, my ram was running faster and OCed, and I never over clocked anything. So, how do I under Clock my ram so it might stop blue screening me?

I recently built my first computer. While I was playing guild wars 2 a few weeks ago my computer screen turned blue and made this monotone sound for roughly 5-10 seconds. The monitor then turned black and the computer began to restart itself. I thought at first that maybe my computer was running to hot and have since been watching my temperatures.
While playing videogames my graphics card can get up to 50-70 degrees celcius depending on the game, while my CPU stays around 50 degrees celcius. Since I have watched my temps nothing has happened until today it occurred again.

Does anyone have an idea of how I can check my parts? They aren't even a month old. Here is my setup.
Thank You
Intel core i5-3570k
Biostar TZ77XE3 ATX LGA1155
Crosair Vengeance 8 gb DDR3-1600
whatever hard drive and cd drive that came with my inspiron 580
EVGA GTX 570 HD
Antec 750W 80 plus
All in a cool master storm trooper case.

You could run memtest. The guys at Guild Wars don't know what they are talking about. I was having connection issues with their server and had my ports forward for the game. They tried to tell me it was my anit-virus then they told me it was my firewall. They were wrong.

I would suggest checking in your bios to see what speed your RAM is running at. It is possible it couldve been bumped up but unlikely. You can also use CPU-Z to take a look using software. Also, when in your bios just make sure everything is set to auto. If your RAM is already set to auto then manually change it to 1600mhz.

Give that a try then post back. If your bios is all set and nothing is actually overclocked is sounds like a server issue, maybe a gpu issue but unlikely as well.

The 1st and, to the company, most important thing they are trained to do is "get the customer off the phone". Blaming something else is the 1st tact in this procedure.
