Hello,
My HTPC
gigabyte h55m usb3
intel core i5 760
8gb ripjaw x DDR3
ATI HIS 5770
netgear 3100 wifi adaptor
is having alot of issues with booting and network adaptors. Initially the network adaptor would stop working and I would have to unplug and replug it for it to work. Then streaming became very slow from my synology DS213. Then I could not open windows explorer. I formatted the HDD in hope that it was a software issue however on installation I got a BSOD. I moved the RAM modules from 1,3 to 2,4 but the computer would no longer boot up. I installed one RAM module into slot 1 and the windows installation could continue. On boot it was very slow again and as soon as I installed the netgear driver the computer reset again. I now boot up and the computer no longer detects the netgear wifi dongle unless i remove it and plug it back in. The computer becomes VERY slow when opening windows explorer.
My thoughts are motherboard issues. Could it be the RAM? or still a software issue (although I ran it for over 7 months with no issues whatsoever previously)
Thanks in advance for any help
James
