I recently bought a club3d radeon hd 7870 jokercard XT, when I connected it up the screen just stayed black and there were no post beeps but the gpu fan began to spin. At first I thought it might be the drivers so I connected my onboard graphics again and installed the latest drivers, making sure to uninstall the onboard drivers and nvidia drivers. I rebooted it and it still didn't work, I then checked device manager and it wasn't being detected at all. I tested it out on 3 other pcs and it still didn't work so I sent it back and got a new one. Surprisingly, this one first work either! Please can someone solve this for me? My system specs are:

Intel i3-2120
Lenovo h330 motherboard
Corsair cx600M
Hd 7870 jokercard XT
4gb ram
500gb hdd

I also tried a different graphics card in and it worked straight away. I have tried with the hdmi and dvi-d and neither of them worked.

You've got the power plug in snug? The fan could spin without the dedicated power.

Have you tried to boot the motherboard on a static bag with the GPU?

Have you disabled the onboard video in bios?

The power lug is definitely in, i have disabled the onboard but i don't know how to boot it on a static bag?

I have connected two 6 pin connectors because the gpu needs two. The gpu that worked was a Gigabyte GT 630

yeah, well i checked on the lenovo website and it told me it was already the latest. Is there another place to go though because in the bios there isn't an option to change the primary display adapter apart from the peg/igd.
