just as it says, my cheep-o msi board is freezing on boot, taking less and less time to do so with each attempt at resets... i really thought it could handle 4.4... I have a 1,500 custom built loop around this el-cheepo-mother board, I have tried some of the troll responses to posts like these to touch your nose ground your tow stick your **** in the psu whole, remove battery press power button 4 times say KAMAYAMAYA, pop out battery put it back in, plug it in, start it up turn it off, start it up, k win! but none of it has worked... is my mobo and or cpu toast?

Solution
Yeah, your PSU is good, as are the rest of your parts. Hopefully you won't have any problems reloading Windows onto a new mobo.
You say you have reset the BIOS to defaults, and it is still freezing? The 970A-G45 is known for problems; if the -G45 indicates a common level of component quality, then your board may have failed too. You've taken out the battery, and hopped across the threshhold on your left foot, but have you reseated everything, including RAM? Try that too. Also, use a single RAM stick to boot. If it works, try the other RAM stick.
It may be helpful to know what else is in your rig, specifically including the graphics card(s) and the brand and model (not just wattage) of your PSU.

the win7 loading process is something I have done so many times in so many different ways that I could do it in my sleep... i'm thinking about the Asus V formula, i just need more information on if its sys fan 1 and sysfan 2 are actually pwm... thx for your help, yeah everything else is good, hotwired psu to check, and these video cards have been around long enough to know its not them

no, i most likely will not link mobo into my loop for awhile
