Hi,

I don't think this has been asked here before, but I had some:

Corsair Dominator PLATINUM 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz Dual/Quad Channel Kit with DHX Pro Connector (CMD16GX3M4A1866C9)

and in dimm_D1 of the motherboard it caused it to go abnormal. I got this RMA'd and all was well for about 2 weeks, and now the same slot has caused the same issue.

I haven't overclocked, apart from the CPU multiplier as I heard bad things about the base clock.

Would you say it could be a faulty motherboard?

Thanks in advanced :)

Yes. I updated due to it locking up when trying to get into the bios when I first got it. The locking up went away after doing this. But it seems to kill the RAM in slot d1...
