I got a Dell Inspiron 7520 Laptop an it has two graphics card. One is the internal graphics card which is the Intel HD Graphics 4000 and two is the AMD Radeon HD 7730M.

How do I find out what graphics card my laptop and how do I switch graphics cards?

He meant to ask how he'll know which GPU his laptop is using, but frankly, I'm not sure how to monitor that.

there are two ways I can think of for checking which GPU is enabled but the methods are a little clumsy:

1) go to device manager and change the view to "Devices by Connection", select your display device and expand the branches.

2) goto display properties and select the "Settings" tab, this should bring up the active display device and GPU.

I'm surprised there isn't a notification agent in the notification area.
