I Need help please

Ok so hi.

i have a acer aspire ax3900 and i want to put a new video card in it (im saving up to make a whole new computer but it will take a while to get the money so im trying to upgrade my current computer) so is there any video cards out there that could fit in my PC that r about $250 and can run games like BF3 at about 40+ FPS.

I know im asking a lot but is there any. Thanks

  1. Hi, I like that computer for pre-built. #1 you can look ONLY for {low profile} video cards. #2 you have a 220watt power supply and will be (pushing it) with many, many (mid/high end cards). #3 the case is very tight and overheating (air flow) might become an issue playing BF3 @ 40+ for any length of time. #4 I would stick with any NVidia brand card but amd will work also. #4 save up and build from the ground up you will be more satisfied with less problems & ready for BF4.

  2. I would lean more towards the 7750 I think it would be a better performer for his money and might possibly fit.

Just measure the dimensions to see how big you can fit. Make sure if you do pick 7750 to get it with ddr5 memory.
  3. Nice card BUT Card Dimensions6.61" x 4.4" x 0.75" not low profile also 400watt min psu. Now he got to buy a psu that won't fit that case also. Limited choices. :-(
  4. Well for 250$ chances are he'd be better off with something like an a8 or a10 apu and a cheap case with a no name psu. I don't think the gt 620 is gonna play the game how he wants.
  5. This would be my choice but you are slightly over :

$254.96 not including shipping or taxes but probably will work better than anything else you could fit in that machine you currently own.

Its not really a question of where to find the video cards. 250$ price range is good for a lot of cards but his case is too small to fit most cards as is his power supply too small so it limits him down to cards that won't really give him the gaming experience he wants.
