So I have this waterblock
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/ati-radeon-full-cover-blocks/radeon-hd-7xx0-series/ek-fc7950-acetal-en-nickel.html
and here is compatibility
http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/waterblock/3831109856260
and here is the card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202006

I have a water cooled system and I want to water cool a 7950. I ended up buying this water block and it didn't fit the 100352-3L I had bought and now I was stuck with the waterblock. Well I was able to get money back on he card and buy a brand new Gigabyte Radeon 7950. And wouldn't you know its a rev 2 (which on newegg the pic said rev 1 and there was no detail to suggest it was otherwise) so I had to return that (as it says compatible only with REV 1 on coolingconfigurator). So now I am going to be 100 percent overly cautious in buying this next one. So I had heard the 100352-2L was a reference design meaning it would fit. However this is hearsay. I thought the 11196-16-20G (shown on coolingconfigurator) was the same as 100352-2L and it looks the same but I began to have second thoughts. BUT I want to be damn sure before I even think about buying it. So PLEASE for the love of GOD and all that is HOLY! Help me find out if I can use this card with my waterblock.

Thank you in advance!

SAPPHIRE 100352-2L . this card's model no is 11196-16-20G.

and SAPPHIRE 100352-3L . This card's model no is 11196-19-20G

Your waterblock is for 11196-16-20G, its only going to support a 11196-16-20G means a 100352-2L . thats why you faced compatibility issue with a 100352-3L which is 11196-19-20G. Because the model numbers was different

NOW, the waterblock is fully compatible with your new card. Because the water block is designed for this card. No need to worry :)

THANK YOU! I had believed it was the same but I couldn't find any evidence to support it. After all of my failed attempts getting a card in my pc with water cooling, it will now be all the more awesome to have that thing over clocked and still running at 35c :)
