What if i dont buy external RAM???

I am changing my motherboard from MSI Boston 1.0 to
ASRock H71M-DGS Motherboard
I curently have 3 GB RAM in my system
What if i dont take external RAM??
Will the 3 GB remain??

Maybe you can be a little more clear with your question, "What if I don't take external ram" what is meant by take external ram? Like Novuake said by changing the motherboard you have to change the other components as well, your current motherboard is a LGA socket 775 and the ram type is DDR2.
By going with the Asrock board you now have the LGA 1155 CPU socket and DDR3 ram, you cannot use DDR2 ram in a DDR3 slot. The same goes for the CPU as you now have to get either a Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge CPU.
