pc wont boot

Hello my pc wont boot specs 3770k
670 4gb sc
16 1600mhz ram
z77 sabbertooth
ax750 psu
My motherboard led is turned on bu the pc just wont boot

Why won't it boot?

Is this a new condition? Did it ever work before?
Is everything connected properly?
Is the monitor turned on and connected?

Everything worked before and I have checked a bazillion time that everything is connected

Last thing I did was put in new thermal paste I cleaned it then put in new paste

ahhh....now some real info appears.

To redo the paste, you had to, at a minimum, take off the cooler.
Is everything reconnected properly? Check and doublecheck.

Why did you feel the need to reapply the paste?

I was bored so I switched thermal paste a put a wee bit and everything is connected properly

It doesn't work anymore

Something you did, or something you touched (even accidentally), has caused it to not work.
I'd guess some physical connection is loose or unplugged. Or static killed a RAM chip. Or the mice inside the PSU are tired.
