I built my first computer about two months ago.
It runs beautifully except for this one issue
The screens flickers, freezes, and then it recovers
The error always happens three times and is logged as such in the event viewer.
It also usually happens once about the first hour I begin playing games.
I have already reinstalled Windows 8. I have searched all the forums.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a video card signal problem. Try to update the graphics card. Try downloading a GPU tempature monitoring application. Maybe your GPU is getting too hot and doesn't have enough airflow. You could try a new signal cable. Maybe it's the monitor, try another monitor and see if you get that problem. Does it work with all games or just one particular games? for example, does it happen in Google Chrome too?

It's a very vague question and I need to know some more information. That's my input.

GPU is up to date.
Card Temp never goes over 70 degree F.
Its happened with:
Far Cry 3
Borderlands 2
Mass Effect 3
Assasins Creed: Brotherhood
So yeah I'm assuming all graphically demanding games.
I agree, I believe its a signal problem, but I can't confirm or remedy.

To be clear this only happens when I'm in-game.
