i recently bought a semi-gaming pc, but want to upgrade certain parts, I'm just not sure what to get.
I'd like to play games like Skyrim, Arma 2 and Star Wars:TOR without laggy graphics, while not spending more than necessary.
Intel Celeron Dual-Core G550 2.60GHz CPU
NVIDIA GeForce G210 1GB GPU
4GB RAM
Windows 7 64-bit OS
400w PSU
ASRock H61M-VG3 MotherBoard
(hope the info is correct, its basically gibberish to me)
any help would be appreciated

Noproblem :) You will like those adviced cards, and also there will be no problem with an intel cpu and an amd gpu. I myself has an intel board, and cpu + amd gpu. It would depend really depend on the budget, can you tell me the exact budget that you have because if it is only price range I would suggest grab the 7750 cause it doenst need any 6pin and it would eat the 640 anytime. Here's a thread that would make it clear for you :D http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/367832-33-radeon-7750-nvidia-geforce

Since you're just going to upgrade, try to get the most of what you can do.

Upgrade your ram with a Gskill Ripjaw 8gb 1600 if you can afford it, and gpu to HD 6670 or HD 7750 so you can assure that you don't need to upgrade your psu when doing so.

Thank you for answering, i will look into the parts you have advised.
will there be any compatibility issues caused by using a AMD GPU on a Intel CPU, im a no0b with pc's sorry for sounding/being stupid.
I've also found another GPU in my price range:
NVIDIA Geforce GT 640 2GB by Asus
is this any good, or am i better off getting the GPU you mentioned?
again, thanks for helping, and any more help is greatly appreciated

OK, I've just checked the prices of the HD 7750 and it is something i can afford (with a little saving) so I'm guessing that is my next purchase.
as long as i can play Skyrim and it isn't lagged to hell I'm a happy man.
also just found out my MOBO can support extra RAM, so I'll be up to 12GB aswell, YAY!
thank you for taking the time to answer my question, you've been a big help
