HD 7970 Screen randomly turns Black

Hello,

my screen randomly turns black for a few seconds when i'm surfing on the internet or when i'm playing games. I dont get a notification that my driver dont working alright

It happens since one week or so, my computer is new, i build my computer about one month ago...

These are my hardware specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k
Motherboard: AsRock Z77 Extreme 4
Video Card: HIS Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition IceQ X²
Memory: 8GB Corsair Vengeance
PSU: bequiet! Straight Power E9 580W
Monitor: Dell UltraSharp U2312HM

So, i hope this was enough information about my computer..

The temperature of my video card is on a green level. Under load (FurMark) the temperatur never goes over 80°.

I have the newest driver (Catalyst 13.1)

I hope you know what to do

(And sorry if I have a bad english :D)

Sry but i have the same problem, we need help guys....
This blackscreen is unbearable.
i have about the same system...
except my graphiccard is different.
So....hope you guys can help.

In my opinion the graficcards from Nvidea are much better than the cards from amd. I also had a amd Graficcard and I had exactly the same problem like you. 2 weeks later my Pc was bunch of shit. What I want tell you is please send back this bunch of shit and get a real graficcard from Nvidea:))) How the guy before me tells you with 680 you dont make a mistake;) !!!

Unfortunately my Amd turns black again-.-
Straight a few seconds ago...
and now im online with my Laptop, so.... my pc is always still black.!
if this problem never end, i will send this graphiccard back and i will buy a nvidia like my mates said.
I hope you found help friend:)
