Hi. I'm new to the hardware/construction side of the computing world but am interested in building my own PC. I'm looking for a decent, fast PC. Not gaming. All i do is browse the net and watch HD videos. Making a little light audio mixing here and there. It would be great if you could take a look at the parts i've ordered to double check the compatibility? I've done some research and they seem fine to me but maybe i missed something. Thanks. :)

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Compact ATX Case

Sony 24x DVD-RW SATA Black Bare Internal Drive Sony 24x DVD-RW SATA Black Bare Internal Drive

Akasa 120mm Black Apache Fan , PWM, Dust and moisture proof super silent fan, HDB Bearing

Intel Core i5-3470 S1155 3.2GHz 6MB

Asus P8Z77-V LX S1155 Intel Z77 DDR3 ATX

Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 Vengeance Low Profile Black Performance Desktop Memory Kit

Seagate 1TB Barracuda SATA 6Gb/s 64MB 7200RPM Hard Drive

Corsair 430W Builder Series CX 80+ Bronze ATX Power Supply

I'm aware that i probably don't need a 430 PSU (?) (overkill) but was the best one i could find.

Just another question too if you'd be so kind.

Do i need to invest in any more SATA cables? I believe the Mobo comes with 2 already which i'll use for my HDD and Optical.

Thanks for taking the time. Cheers.
Sam

loose the z77 mobo or buy a i5-3570k if u want to overclock
if u don't want to do gaming may be buy a amd apu saves u the money and has a much better inbuilt gpu so even if u decide to do some gaming it will handle it
even a 3rd gen i3 is a very good cpu
