In-game graphics flickering?

So I recently bought both a GT 640 and an HD 7750. I returned the former because I thought that the flickering was a sign that the Nvidia card was defective. It turns out, however, that it was not that case. In some games, I notice the graphics flickering to be a lot, and other minimal.

I've tried solutions like upping my refresh rate and setting the anisotropic filtering to application controlled. I also have upped Anti-Aliasing to the max and still no result. Does anyone know a sure-fire way to fix this problem? I've also installed the latest drivers and also to no avail.

This is my video on what I'm talking about:

Specs:
Dell Inspiron 530
Intel Core 2 Duo E7400
4 GB RAM
Asus Radeon HD 7750 1 GB DDR5
Earthwatts 430W Green PSU

EDIT: I'm going to try switching cables.

That's a nope. I've tried messing with vsync to no avail either. I'll try again, however.

EDIT: Tried again and still nothing. I've also switch cables and still getting the error. I'm sure it's not the video card as I got it with the GT 640 too.

ok. one other thing to try. it might be the monitor cord. can you get the flickering if you shake the cord? Have you tried this gpu on a different monitor?

edit- crap, ok what are you connecting it with? is there a conversion in format anywhere? (dvi to vga or something?)

Nope, DVI-D to DVI-D. I did try with a VGA cable with a DVI converter, but the same results. I did switch monitors to another LCD monitor and I get the same issue. I'm starting to get a feeling that both the GT 640 and 7750 I bought are defective. Then again, I did get errors like this on my older HD 6570 too.

so... you have the problem on multiple monitors, with multiple cards and multiple cords.

that leaves just 2 things it could be.

1) software. the most likely explanation is you didn't uninstall the prior drivers propperly... uninstall all video drivers, use driver sweeper http://www.guru3d.com/content-page/guru3d-driver-sweeper.html or use ccleaner. that should scrape all prior drivers out of your system. restart the pc, then install the latest drivers for your gpu.

if that doesn't work

2) you might have a psu issue. try a different psu and see what happens.

Okay, I'm deleting all the older AMD drivers. Will update as soon as I can.

EDIT: So yeah, both of those attempts don't fix it. My only current suggestion is that it may be a motherboard issue or that it may be a very bad console-to-PC port. I don't seem to notice the problems with games that are mainly PC games.

Some games have a noticeable problem, but none that bad. I'm about to give up and deal with it.

I truly appreciate the help, ingtar, but it appears that this problem is going to go unresolved. It may just as well be a hardware issue, but it's not affecting FPS or gameplay so I guess I'll deal with it.

well i'm stumped... don't know what to say. though i still think it has to do with vsync...
