Hello, I currently own this rig:
-Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8Ghz
-ECS G31T-M7 Motherboard (http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail...)
-2GB RAM DDR2 800Mhz
-Sapphire 7750 1GB DDR5
-FSP Hexa 550watts
-Thermaltake Contac 21

I was wondering if it's okay to overclock my CPU till around 3.2GHz?
Since I'm going to get a new CPU cooler and I don't know if my motherboard can take it.
I have this PC for around 4 years now. I have no budget to get it upgraded whatsoever so I was hoping to just overclock it.
I am completely a noob at overclocking so please bear with me.

I have a Pentium Dual Core E5400 2.7ghz @ 3.6ghz with 1.35v 13.5x266FSB Hyper 212+ heatsink, so yours should overclock to 3.6Ghz with similar ease. Your memory and motherbaord are the weak points.

Yeah I'm pretty scared of overclocking 'coz of my motherboard and ram. They're both cheap. Lol.
