Got a samsung2233rz which I'm certain can run 120 hz. After discarding my old stationary PC for a Asus gaming laptop i can't however get it to work with 120 hz. if i connect it with a VGA to DVI from computer(vga) to monitor(DVI) the computer register the monitor but don't get a picture. if i use a DVI-HDMI cable (moniter DVI laptop HDMI) i get a picture but can only get it to run with 60 hz. Anyway to circumvent that `? or is there some magic cable i need to get it running with 120 hz.

bonus info. graphic card is a Geforce GTX 560m. Hope someone can help.

Best regards

I'm sure if an ancient geforce2, probably even the orchid righteous3D I used to have can run 120 then I'm pretty sure anything these days could., even though it was all 1024x768 way back when I the 90's.
