Hello, I recently build a new rig with an EVGA GTX 660 Ti and have recently started experiencing very bad artifact and GPU driver crashing issues.

Revelent hardware:
Intel I5 3750k @Factory clock
Asus P8H77M-CSM
EVGA GTX 660 TI @Factory clock
Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 650W

What I am experiencing has been artifacting in games and sometimes even on Windows when a few Firefox windows are open.. Tested the card on Furmark and the thing starts artifacting at like 50C. The highest the card has ever been seen at is low 60's. Furthermore, I have had the Nvidia drivers crash and somehow lock my core(as seen in Precision X) at 1058Mhz which is way above even the boost clock.

Tried underclocking and changing driver version but so far nothing have been helping.

Any help would be appreciated before I RMA this thing to Newegg.

Thanks! :)

Just to be sure I went and bought a Corsair TX650 v2, did not fix the issue.

Kind of sad how before buying this card I told my buddies I never had a good Nvidia card and was hoping this one would be different. Wishful thinking. Thanks for the help.

you need at least a 700w PSU for that graphics card
