Guys recently im having this problem that my comp would freeze randomly and show red screen. Also twice it turn off automatically and rebooted itself like after 5 seconds or so and then shut down again (then i pulled the plug). This problem started after i installed my cpu cooler Xigmatek dark knight night hawk edition and i have only encountered this while playing bf3. I tested it while playing witcher 2 but no problems there. I overclock my card card and cpu. At first i thought it might be my psu (as everyone on the internet says) but i have been using these settings for quite a while and no problems ever came up. then i looked at my temps and max for cpu was 58'c and gpu 78'c (full load playing bf3 maxed out). Then yesterday my computer froze and i turned it off. When i turned it on again it gave 4 beeps so i re installed my rams and it seemed to solve the problem. I ran prime95 (selected the optio in which a lot of ram is tested) and immediately my windows gave error that it needs to restart. After restarting i chose the option in which no ram is test and it worked flawlessly. Can it be ram's fault? because i have not seen anywhere that indicates this problem to faulty rams. My specs are:-
i7 2600k 4.4ghz
Gigabyte 7950 1190/1700 (problem also came when i ran the card at 1050/1550 with no voltage increase. these settings i know are stable because i have played n them ALOT)
Asrock z75 pro3
6 GB Dominator GT
Cooler master GX 550w psu
windows 8 pro x64

But the temps are always below 60'c so why would it give error like this ? And wouldnt it act the same when i play the witcher 2 too?

Power supply was my first guess too. I already plan to change it but what still surprises me is that ll this happened only during bf 3 . The witcher 2 puts same load on GPU as well but runs flawlessly. And if there was a psu problem should i be getting all these symptoms before too as i used the same settings . (btw psu was brought in august 2011)
