Okay, so I just built my very first PC and installed Windows 7 and formatted all my drives and installed drivers for everything. I ran Windows Experience Index to rate my system and as it was rating, I accidently clicked on the screen. Then all of a sudden everything just started like glitching out. Like it looked like the screen was just tearing. Things were going all over the place. Whenever I hover my mouse over an icon or something, it shows up. But then it just glitches out again. I am running an EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked card. Could it be that the card is faulty? :/

I've tried unplugging my monitors, unplugging their dvi cables, but it's still happening. I ran WEI again, and while it was running nothing happened. But then as soon as it ended it started glitching again. Does anyone know a way to fix this? Should I unplug then plug back in my graphics card? I'm running two monitors, and it's happening to the other one as well. Is it a problem with Windows or my graphics card? Please help!

All help is appreciated!

you will want to reinstall your graphics drivers in case they became corrupt.

download Driver Fusion from here: http://treexy.com/products/driver-fusion
download your latest graphics drivers from the nvidia website.

uninstall the nvidia driver completely but do not restart when prompted, run driver sweeper and choose nvidia display then analyse and clean when it finishes scanning then restart when prompted.
reinstall the new nvidia drivers and see if you still have problems.

i also would not rely on the windows experience index, it is not a good measurement of performance.

it could be your graphic card ,first stop the system remove the graphic card do a cmos reset then put card back in start system and when system will run retry the wei test and let it finish do not touch anything while it is on test .

I didn't get these directions at all. I already have the drivers installed. Do I uninstall them? Then what?
