Hey guys. I snagged up a Swiftech H220 when I could and while I wait for it to arrive I've been wondering how I should have my fans set up. I am going to be shooting for a high overclock with the cooler on my 8120, but I also want it to keep my temperatures down when I do game.

A regular setup would be to have the front two 120mm intake in through the rad which blows in hot air towards my gpu. I'd prefer not to do that if I can help it as I would like my gpu not to throttle under overclocks.

So I was thinking that maybe I should have the rear exhaust act as intake, two front fans as exhaust and maybe add a 200mm for exhaust on top as well. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

Does your case have a side intake/exhaust fan? Also, anyway you can mount the RAD on the top of your case? I tried finding some good pics of the top to no luck.

No reason why you couldnt have a back to front airflow through the case, though expect it to get dusty as there arent any filters on the back.

What I would do though is have all the case fans as intake (except the top 200mm), that way you build up a very positive case pressure which will force the hot air out out the sides and top of the case. Hopefully the fresh airflow coming from the back will be enough to offset the warmer air from the front radiator.
